At the southern tip of Africa lies South Africa -
A country steeped in culture, history, and beauty.
South Africa
Known as the Rainbow Nation,because of the unity of multi-culturalism and the coming-together of people of many different races, in a country which was once strictly divided between white and black.
South Africa is abundant with natural resources like gold and diamonds, diverse cultures and a fascinating history.
For visitors to South Africa, there is an endless amount of places to visit and sightseeing to do that will leave you breathless. From the wonder of Table Mountain to the secrets of the wild animals in the game reserves, there is so much to see that no matter how much you travel around there is always more.
South Africa is a place of beauty and adventure with sights to see, things to do and never to be forgotten wonders to experience.
The country today is divided into 9 provinces:
* The Eastern Cape
* The Northern Cape
* The Western Cape which includes Cape Town and surrounding areas
* The Free State
* Gauteng – which includes Pretoria, Johannesburg, Soweto and surrounding areas
* KwaZulu-Natal

Transvaal which includes: Gauteng; Limpopo; Mpumalanga and North West
The Cape which includes: The Eastern Cape; The Northern Cape; The Western Cape
Natal which is now called Kwazulu Natal
South Africa is a place of beauty and adventure with places to see, things to do and never to be forgotten wonders to experience.

Thanks for the excellent post. South Africa is indeed a beauty with three of the largest wildlife parks and natural reserves. I was born and grew up there as a child though too early to remember anything. Reading your post made me want to be able to go on a South African Safari, indulge in South African food and camps. What a delight and blessing that shall be to travel to south africa! Can’t wait for my south african holiday..!
