South African Game Reserves 2

South African Game reserves  – South Africa contains a copious amount of Game and Wildlife reserves both National and Private, which can be found in every province of this amazingly beautiful country. They have an abundance of animal and bird life as well as coastal regions with marine life reserves where dolphins, whales and other sea life can be seen. As far back as 1995 a report was conducted by the South African dept of the Environment and Tourism which showed that at that time there were 422 officially protected areas.

It is almost certain that the abundance of Wildlife reserves and game parks form one of the main attractions for visitors to South Africa. The parks can be found in every imaginable landscape, offering an unparalleled experience from the viewing of the big five, a wide variety of antelope and other types of South African wild life.

Many reserves in South Africa are recognized as heritage conservation areas where visitors can explore the ancient San rock art, geologic formations, historic battlefields and unusual bio systems. Many of these are now UNESCO world heritage sites.

Most South African Game and Nature reserves have accommodation available and many now offer conference facilities that allow delegates to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings when conducting their business.

There is no doubt that the Kruger National Park is the most well known and possibly the most visited wildlife area in South Africa, however the popularity of the Eastern Cape Province as a Safari area has been steadily growing and is today probably one of the most visited Safari destinations in the world due to the fact that it is a malaria free area as well as offering a vast variety of animal life, bird life and of course dolphin and whale watching and other marine life.

wow! ecstatic! this site provides a tourism destination where one should be during holidays or free time. It provides tourism destinations similar to Masai Mara and other important sites such as geological sites and battle fields that would provide good travel experience
