Curry flavoured mince with a milk and egg base

1-kilo mutton or beef mince
2 tablespoons curry powder
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice.
Salt and pepper according to taste
Soak the bread in half the milk and mash finely.
Fry the chopped onions in the oil, and then add the mashed bread, curry powder, sugar, seasoning, lemon juice, and the minced meat to the onions.
Mix all together with 1 beaten egg.
Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish and bake in a moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
Beat the second egg well with a pinch of salt and pepper and the rest of the milk.
Pour this over the mince and place the bay leaves on top and the chopped almonds and bake for a further 30 minutes.
Serve with rice.
